About
“As a Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Coach my toes are thoroughly buried in the sands of holistic work. My background in Counselling studies, Yoga Therapy and all things Wellbeing enables the facilitation towards the journey into healing”.
Hello,
My name is Aimee, I am a Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Coach, Yoga Therapist and Ayurveda Diet and Lifestyle advocate with a keen interest in Trauma-informed practice. Aimee is the Founder and Executive Director at The Nook Wellbeing and Creative Space in Perranporth, championing equal access to Wellbeing services.
Since 2009 I have been studying and sharing the incredible benefits of holistic approaches to Wellbeing in my private practice, groups and now virtually too. I am passionate about walking the path to Wellbeing alongside you. Autonomy and a client-lead approach is foundation to the relational work that we do together. I believe self-government, empowerment and agency is at the heart of this person-centred, client-lead facilitation, therefore sessions are paced and tailored to your needs.
I am soon to graduate as a Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) facilitator and have a special interest in working with people with long-term health problems and people with Complex PTSD and Developmental Trauma.
I am also a student of Creative Art Therapies and I am enjoying the process of weaving somatic and creative modalities together to create an integrative practice. I pull from my experience, knowledge and intuition and combine multidisciplinary techniques such as Yoga, Ayurveda, Diet and Lifestyle guidance and creative art therapies to facilitate clients and students to live a more balanced and happy life.
I hope we get to journey together soon.

“Aimee’s specialised and tailored yoga rehabilitation has been a great source of relief to me during a challenging time, when medication could only heal so much. Aimee has offered me invaluable wisdom and coping strategies to self regulate my pain and symptoms. Her treatment has afforded me respite from my symptoms and, also, an opportunity to strengthen my body and move forward in my recovery. It has been incredibly empowering and of immense relief to me”.
